Introduction to Risk Management

Australia was the first country in the world to introduce a risk management standard, AS 4360, a joint effort with New Zealand. This pioneering Standard has now been adopted internationally via AS/NZS ISO 31000, the standard for risk management globally.
This one day workshop will provide participants with an excellent grasp on the processes of risk management and outline the requirements of the new AS/NZS ISO 31000 risk management standard. We examine risk management methodology, and how this relates to brokers, insurers and to consumers at large.
Participants will learn how to identify risk, assess risk and treat risk to achieve corporate objectives.
