Career History

Cathy started her career with the Commercial Union Assurance Company where she became an underwriter and a claims supervisor for domestic products.

In 1990 Cathy took up a position with Sydney based insurance broker, Fairweather Turner Pty Ltd where she rose to become General Manager. During this period Cathy was heavily involved in all facets of insurance as well as carrying out her management responsibilities. This included managing the day to day operations of the company to ensure achievement of organisational objectives and goals.

Some of Cathy’s notable achievements have been:

• Development and implementation of compliance process to meet regulatory reforms
• Successfully converting the company’s considerable database to new financial systems
• Working and contributing to committees relating IT issues at an industry level
• Development of insurance products for niche market segments 

Current Responsibilities

Cathy is a facilitator for Proed College and continues to provide consultancy services to the financial services industry. Cathy is highly sought after for her organisational skills at a management level.
